v has designed two awards to help you get the recognition you deserve. And the great news is that it’s all online.

You can apply for a vfifty Award if you complete 50 hours of volunteering in any 12 month period.

Once you’ve got your vfifty award, you can then apply for a vimpact award, which involves completing a further 100 hours of volunteering. You’ll also get the chance to reflect on your skills and think about the impact of your volunteering on the community.

There is also a Taster Certificate that you can receive if you are just coming along to try out  one of our projects or placements or if it is just a one of event.

The vImpact Award is available to volunteers that have already completed the vfifty award and are keen to take on a new challenge..

At a time when businesses around the country are feeling the strain from the global economic downturn, young people too are finding it more and more difficult to find employment. Volunteering is one way that young people can stay active and keep in close touch with the world of work, learn new skills and contribute to communities. The CBI is pleased to support the vinspired awards because they allow young people to assess and articulate to employers the impact of volunteering on key employability skills. And that can only enhance a young person’s future prospects.”.
