The Disability Youth Action Teams

Vinvolved has two youth action teams for young people with disabilities, living in the Bournemouth area, aged 13 - 19 years old.

The aim of these youth action teams is to test drive different types of volunteering and report on them, to ensure that volunteering opportunities are suitable for people with disabilities. If they are not, then the teams provide support and guidance to the placement about how to improve the provisions for people with disabilities.

The group also identify areas which they feel need developing or improving and take action to ensure that in the future young people with disabilities will have the support and opportunities they need to live a full filled life.
