Next Generation steers towards Lulworth!

3 young people from the Next Generation steering group traveled to Lulworth on Wednesday.  Despite the rain, they went foraging in the sand at Durdle Door, ate fish and chips at Lulworth Cove and joined in with a graffiti mural in Swanage!  It was a jam-packed day full of jokes and giggles.
Oscar, Jamie & Cassie have been working really hard designing the Next Generation logo and undertaking a secret mission in the name of all young people aged 11-16 in Bournemouth.  All will be revealed next month so watch this space!

One Voice Youth Film Festival is being held at the Pier Theatre in Bournemouth on 9th October 2010.  This is a Film Festival for young people providing a rare opportunity to showcase their work in a public arena.

FilmJunkies is a volunteering youth action project based in Bournemouth.   The project is aimed at young people aged up to 25. We produce films about issues young people face such as teenage pregnancy, binge drinking and homelessness. Not only have our films been shown in schools across Dorset, but they've also won awards, such as MTV's prestigious BOOM award.

All the films entered will have the opportunity to be judged by a panel of 3 judges who have much experience of the film industry, one of whom is the chair of the Purbeck Film Festival.  On the night awards will be handed out to categories such as, Best Actor, Best Director and we look forward to receiving your films of no more than 10 minutes long.
